My children attend Waldorf school. Below is the morning verse that was recited by my 4th grader's class each day at the start. So beautiful. So blessed.
The sun, with loving light
Makes bright for me each day.
The soul, with spirit power
Gives strength unto my limbs.
The sunlight shining clear,
I do revere,
Oh God,
The strength of humankind,
Which thou, so graciously has planted
in my soul,
That I may strive to work
And eager be to learn.
From thee comes light and strength.
To thee rise love and thanks.
