The last day of school=Joy!
Mama teacher and boy students will
embark on summer travels, get away
from the grind, schedule, alarm clocks.
This brings much joy to us!
Joy= fulfilling a dream, Africa bound!
Minnesota lakes, road trips with boys,
plentiful gardens, hot sun, family, cousins,
flowers, music, dancing and letting go,
bring such joy to this heart.
Hard days come and joy still remains,
always there in the little things.
Joy is my boys' little giggles,
and hugs for mama a plenty.
Joy resides in my heart, always.

Joy = tons of adventures planned!!
You're going to Africa? Awesome! I was lucky enough to go when I was young. I hope to get to go again. And take my son on these kind of travels.
Are you going to the DRC this summer? What a big trip! Enjoy!
I have an intuition that this summer is going to be quite transformative for you. Enjoy!
oh, I would love the joy of experiencing life abroad again! What a wonderful thing to be able to share summers off with the kids.
Joy will abound all summer long!
Or at least every other minute, right? :)
Thank you, ladies! I'm feeling so much joy these days despite some trying changes.
Yes, i'm going to AFRICA....a life long dream. I'll be in Zimbabwe doing some outreach work (HIV/AIDS, sustainable living, etc.) and studying some music and dance....can't wait!
I am so blessed. Thank you for blessing my page with your uplifting words. xoxoxoxo
"....always there in the little things." That's it in a nut shell, isn't it? Thanks for this lovely, joyous poem.
